Judge: An elected or appointed public official with the authority to hear and decide cases in a court of law. (Ref: Webster's New World Dictionary, College Edition)

Police Officer: (Law Enforcement Officer) Any employee of a local government agency who is primarily responsible for prevention or detection of crime and the enforcement of the criminal code , traffic, or highway laws of this State or any political subdivision thereof. Due Process of the Law: (In General) Due process ensures that all citizens of the United States and it's territories have equal rights under the constitution, and that we are all guaranteed the right to a fair and speedy trial.
